Brazilian model Tales Soares died after collapsing on the catwalk
A Brazilian male model died after fainting on the catwalk during Sao Paulo Fashion Week.
Surprised fashionistas rushed out of their seats after Tales Soares, 26, appeared to have tripped over a shoelace, with some people reportedly thought it was part of “acting” during Saturday’s show for the fashion brand Ocksa.
He started foaming at his mouth when the paramedics took care of him on the catwalk before hurrying to take him to the hospital, where he was declared dead.
The model – which also went by the name of Cotto Tales – was praised for “exemplary behavior” in respect of Instagram by its agency, MGT Base.
“Tales are never presented or complain about health problems,” the statement stressed.
“He is on a healthy diet (he is a vegetarian), does not use illegal substances and is in full condition to participate in the parade. And we ask for respect at this moment of deep sadness. ”
Sao Paulo Fashion Week also posted an award on Instagram.
“May God welcome you with open arms! Life is really a catwalk, we just passed it! “It reads, calling the news” very sad! ”
The cause of Soares’s death will not be known until the autopsy is complete.
